Sales Source is the outsourced sales partner that ambitious companies trust to crack new markets - and we’re growing fast. Brands hire us to be their sales team where they don’t yet have one, and as our Business Development Manager for APAC, you’re the face of those brands on the ground: the person who opens the doors, builds the relationships and wins the deals.
This is a senior, high-autonomy role with genuine ownership - and genuine reward. You’ll carry a portfolio of exciting partner brands, take their proposition to market and own the full sales cycle from first conversation to closed deal, all while helping us grow by bringing new partners on board. You’ll have the backing of a tight-knit, high-performing team that has done this many times over, world-class sales training, regular company get-togethers, and uncapped commission on everything you close. If you want to sell brilliant products, own your market and build a career with no ceiling, you’ll fit right in.
- Act as the dedicated local representative for a portfolio of our partner brands across Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan & wider APAC, becoming a credible expert in their products and their markets.
- Build and own your pipeline - prospecting, outreach and networking across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn and in person).
- Book and run qualified meetings with decision-makers at C-level, VP and Director level on behalf of the partners you represent.
- Own deals end to end - discovery, solution, proposal, negotiation and close - carrying a revenue target for each partner.
- Get out into the field: attend client meetings, trade shows and industry events across APAC as the face of the brands you represent.
- Grow Sales Source. Identify companies that would benefit from local representation in your region and bring them on as new partners.
- Keep CRM and reporting accurate and up to date, so partners have full visibility of pipeline and progress.
- Feed market intelligence - competitor activity, buyer trends and common objections - back to partners and the wider team.
- 3+ years in B2B business development, sales or account management, with a track record of hitting and beating targets.
- Full-cycle selling experience - you can prospect, qualify, present, negotiate and close without being handed leads.
- Strong knowledge of one or more APAC markets and how business is done across the region.
- Professional English; a regional language (Mandarin, Japanese, Cantonese, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Confident, credible and self-directed - comfortable owning a territory and managing your own time with minimal hand-holding.
- Happy to travel within APAC for client and industry events.
- Based in Singapore, Australia or another APAC hub with the right to work there.
- Experience selling on behalf of multiple brands, or in an agency / outsourced sales environment.
- An existing network in B2B technology, SaaS, manufacturing or professional services.
- Familiarity with modern sales tooling (CRM, sales engagement and contact-data platforms).
- Additional languages spoken in your region.
- A competitive base plus genuinely uncapped commission on every deal you close - when the partners you represent win, you win.
- Remote-first, for real. Work from home or wherever you do your best work in the region - we were built distributed, not retrofitted for it.
- Out in the field, expensed. Client meetings, trade shows and industry events on behalf of the brands you represent, with travel and expenses covered.
- World-class sales training. Ongoing coaching in the methodologies buyers expect - MEDDPICC, SPIN and Challenger - plus regular live deal reviews.
- Regular company gatherings. Team meetups to swap plays, learn from each other and connect in person - distributed doesn’t mean disconnected.
- A modern toolkit, provided. Best-in-class CRM, sales-engagement and contact-data platforms so you spend your time selling, not stitching tools together.
- Room to grow. As we take on new partners and open new markets, the strongest reps shape where we go next - a genuine next step in a sales career.
APAC is a vast, fast-growing and diverse set of markets - from Singapore and Hong Kong to Australia and Japan. Winning here means local presence, cultural fluency and patience. You’ll be the on-the-ground representative for the brands we partner with, focusing where the opportunity is strongest.
